More About Pearce Proofreading

As a primary school teacher with over a decade of experience in the classroom, I have always been passionate about language. I've developed an eagle eye, spotting errors and typos in all sorts of texts.  I also became an expert in suggesting ways that texts could be improved.

During my time in the classroom, I developed a professional understanding of English grammar and spelling.  This was further developed when I became lead teacher for English and had access to lots of training to sharpen my technical knowledge.  I then took the opportunity to take a course in proofreading and copy editing with the College of Media and Publishing whilst on maternity leave in 2019-20.  I passed the level 4 diploma with a distinction.
